unfortunate-people has claimed the International prize for my giveaway! I’m just waiting for a message that says what they would like me to order for them from The Book Depository, and then they’ll be sent on their way to Brazil!
The last prize is a US prize and I’ve sent a message to the next person on the winner list! Hopefully they respond, but if not, I’ll pick another one at random and send another message! I’m going to be really bummed if someone does respond but doesn’t live in the US. :/ I hope that doesn’t happen!

creative-nightmares was drawn as a winner in my giveaway, and she has claimed the first US prize! I’m waiting for her decisions on what books she would like outside the mystery box (I forgot to ask in my first message—whoops!), and then I’ll be shipping her prize!
I’ve sent out another notice, and if the winner doesn’t respond, then I’ll select another on the afternoon of May 7th!
Thanks for your guys’ patience! (:

I’m definitely thinking about setting up a poll for what YA book I should read next. Sorry I’ve been throwing so many classics at you guys lately! I’m definitely ready to read a completely non-metaphorical, pointless, and shallow YA book. No more symbolism! No more satirical allegories!
I’ll probably include about five books that I own and have been wanting to get around to, and let you guys decide!
- 2nd May
Contacting the second winner of my giveaway—the first hasn’t yet responded, and they have until 8am tomorrow morning to do so. If the second winner responds first, then they’ll get the first pick!

- 1st May
I messaged the first-drawn winner of my giveaway, and they have until Friday, May 3rd, at 8:00am PST, to respond and let me know they are INT or US, and if they want to accept the prize. If they don’t respond, I’ll move to the next name on my list. Unfortunately, because I don’t know the countries of anybody I picked, I must wait until one persons responds until I contact another person so they know what prize(s) are still available.
Hang on tight!

So, hopefully, I’ll be asleep by midnight (considering I do have school tomorrow!), so if I gain any more followers during the night, I will be relying on the time stamp of the email Tumblr sends to check what time. This kind of sucks, because I usually get the emails at least an hour after I get the notification on my dashboard. But those don’t have time stamps, so I can’t verify the time. Depending on what time the email was sent, I might include it anyway, so we’ll just see how it goes in the morning. (:
I probably won’t draw anyone until after school tomorrow—but there’s a good chance I won’t be going to school tomorrow, so it’ll happen whenever I feel like I have enough energy to sit at my computer, hahah. (:
Thanks, guys! I reached 1300 followers last night, and I’m so grateful for all your guys’ support. <3

I remember that all I hoped for was an even thousand followers by my blogoversary. I’ve almost tripled the original goal of a hundred more followers in a hundred days! You guys are the best. (‘:

My British Literature teacher told us to turn to page three-hundred and ninety-four.
I was the only one who laughed.
and then I was looked at strangely.
But he said it in a British accent.
“And I swear in that moment, my teacher was Severus Snape.”

So, I’m behind on my GoodReads Yearly Reading Challenge by about five books.
(Which really, really sucks.)
So, I’m taking the opportunity to read some short stories/prequels that have been on my TBR for a long time, that are also freebies. That way, I can catch up on my challenge, and take down my TBR by a few books! So please bear with me as you’ll be seeing nothing but short story reviews for the next couple days!
As my personal book is really long, and I can only stay with my class on the other novels I’m reading, I don’t know when I’ll have a review for another full-length book up again—so at least you’ll have something interesting to read!

So, I was having some issues allowing my notes to show up so I could tell who had entered my giveaway, and who hadn’t, so I contacted Tumblr support (since only a few of the notes were showing). They informed that giveaways using posts/reblogs aren’t allowed on Tumblr, and then they took down my post (which I had provided a link to).
I had decided to use a post to make it easier for people to enter—I had no idea this was “against the rules”, as if you just search “giveaway” on a tag, there are hundreds of giveaways going on using the reblog system all over the site. Countless other book blogs have done the same thing, so I guess it’s one of those “If we don’t see it, we don’t care” sort of things.
Anyway, my post is gone & consequently, all the notes with it. I’m so sorry to everyone who entered/reblogged it, because I know a few people have done it once or twice every day to get more entries. I feel really bad about the whole thing, and I wish that I could make it up to you guys in a fair way. However, I can’t get the notes back, and I don’t think I should take my chances recreating the post and put my blog at possible risk for violation of TOS.
In replacement of “reblogging”, I’ll just use the same random number generator on my followers list, and proceed the same way. So, unfortunately, those of you who entered more than once got squandered your upper hand, but on the flipside, those of you who may not have noticed the giveaway now get a chance!
Again, I’m really sorry about all that. I wish I had known there were “rules” against that, because I never would have contacted support and mentioned the giveaway explicitly. But, I guess I know that I’ll have to stick to Rafflecopter in the future!
Thanks all for you patience. Everything will still end on April 30th, and I’ll contact who needs to be contacted on May 1st, giving a 72 hour response time.
(Also, today is my “official” blogoversary day. Although not exactly the greatest way to celebrate so far.)

In my review policy, I have asked authors to not contact me via my Tumblr ask box about review requests. Most authors do not have Tumblr accounts and can only ask via an anon message, which I cannot answer privately. I will only end up deleting the request (few people even leave their name) because I cannot contact you privately. My email is listed on my review policy page so you can contact me.
In addition, my review request status is currently closed. I am not accepting review copies, for publishing companies OR indie authors at this moment. I am far too busy for the next few months to take on more books for review in addition to the ones that I have already agreed to review. I keep getting emails about review requests, and all I ask is that you read my review policy before requesting a review! I understand that some authors/publishers/agents come across me via GoodReads and do not have a chance to look at my review policy, but the ones who have begun a request by saying they like my blog need to read the RP. It’s there for a reason! (: I get sad when I have to decline a request, even when it’s as simple as directing to the RP and explaining that I’m not taking requests.
So please, please, please read my RP before sending me requests of any kind! Thank you!

Ahh, I missed it again! (You guys always manage to follow me when I’m asleep!) But there it is! 1205 followers! Thank you all so much! I wish I had the money to add another prize to the giveaway!
By the way…in case you haven’t heard, I’m hosting a giveaway! YOU CAN ENTER HERE! Thank you followers!! <3

That awkward moment when you reblog a really nerdy idea about a video game onto your book blog and not your personal…
Uhhh, sorry guys. Whoops! Now you all know I’m a
free and easy closet Final Fantasy X fangirl. (:
Back to books!
