Home Again!
Hello everybody! I’m home from camp, in one piece! Thank goodness, hahah. There wasn’t much time for reading, so I’ve got a lot of catching up to do! There was some crazy stuff going on (an exciting last night there, while we all went into lockdown mode while a creepy older guy was stalking around an ALL GIRLS camp, and that was pretty terrifying).
Funniest part of the whole week was going to the bathroom during lockdown as a unit. One of the costume days was fictional character day, so our unit was the Avengers. We all took our Avengers weapons with us when we went, in order to fend off potential attackers. One girl had her Thor hammer, another had her Black Widow guns, I had my bow and plunger arrows for Hawkeye, and another had her Captain America shield. Unfortunately, our Hulk and Iron Man didn’t have much going for them, so we gave them the pointy legs of some pink flamingos we had brought with us.
Exciting, no? I’ll get back to reading ASAP, and I’ll be gone again next weekend for another church activity. I’m really looking forward to it, and also it being over, because that means I can relax again and get back to my books!
It’s good to be home, and thank you all who gave me going away wishes before I left! It was a wonderful sight to come home to those sweet comments. (:
